空軍翔展戰機聯隊預於1月16日成軍

空軍預定在1月16日舉行IDF翔展戰機聯隊成軍典禮，展示「翔展一號」經國號戰機性能提升成果，上午在空軍台南聯隊首度舉行預演。翔展戰機聯隊成軍後，中科院自行研發掛載在翔展機上的萬劍彈，也隨之成軍戰備，IDF戰機因此成為空軍目前唯一具備長程攻陸戰力的機種。

空軍耗資168億元，以翔展一號計畫為名，提升台南聯隊71架IDF戰機性能。「翔展二號」再投入160億元，在民國102年到105年間，對台中清泉聯隊56架IDF戰機進行性能提升。台南聯隊完成全機隊性能提升，預定1月16日舉行聯隊成軍典禮，結合空中分列與地面部隊校閱，計畫邀請馬英九總統主持。
