LONDON TAXI可說是英國當地相當知名的計程車製造商，而在2007年時，中國吉利汽車入主LONDON TAXI所屬的英國Manganese Bronze Holdings錳銅控股集團，成為LONDON TAXI備好的金主之一，但長年來的虧損，更讓LONDON TAXI在去年面臨破產倒閉的命運，最後錳銅控股集團在2013年2月將手中所有股份以1100萬英鎊的價格全數出售給中國吉利集團，使LONDON TAXI完全納入中國吉利集團體系之下。
