Mazda3這輛MAZDA旗下主力房車，在2013年10月10日於日本發表上市後，以性能化的外型吸引著年輕人的目光，而同時也讓不少性能迷們企盼著新一代Mazda3 MPS/Mazdaspeed3的出現。根據日本方面的消息指出，全新一代Mazda3 MPS/Mazdaspeed3將會擁有300hp的馬力輸出及AWD四驅系統，以超越同級對手、直指WRX STI的強悍姿態現身。
