沙烏地阿拉伯主動降價，下個月對亞洲出口的阿拉伯輕原油每桶比中東基準油價便宜2美元，折扣幅度是至少14年來最大，對美國的售價也調降至少70美分，展現捍衛市占的決心，但也加深市場供過於求的疑慮。

西德州中級原油1月期貨4日收盤跌0.9%至66.81美元，盤中一度下挫1.9%；布侖特1月原油期貨跌0.4%至69.64美元，是2010年5月來最低。

麻州Strategic Energy and Economic Research總裁Michael Lynch說，市場空頭氣氛自然更濃厚，「油價將繼續下跌，一直到經濟有顯著改善，或是原油供應出什麼狀況，還是有個OPEC成員國真的起而行動而不是說別國該如何如何。」

另外，歐洲央行昨天未如預期宣布擴大寬鬆，還表示明年就算擴大收購標的範圍，也不會買黃金，國際金價應聲走跌，紐約黃金2月期貨盤中一度跌0.6%，收盤跌幅收斂至0.1%，至1,207.7美元，是三天來第二天收黑。
