義國外海船難頻傳 1天救近千人

義大利海岸防衛隊今天表示，1艘難民船在西西里外海翻覆，至少10人喪生，而過去1天已有近千人在不同事故中獲救。

北非與中東衝突地區近幾個月有一波波難民企圖逃至歐洲，許多人因船隻翻覆而身亡。

利比亞鑽油平台1艘拖船發現有船隻翻覆後，向有關當局發出警報，義大利海岸防衛隊1艘稍早救起並運送318名難民的船隻前往現場。

大約121人在翻船後獲救，但至少10人罹難。

義大利海岸防衛隊今天聲明指出，不到24小時內已執行7次救援任務，在西西里海峽救起941位難民。

獲救者包括超過30名孩童以及至少1名孕婦，這名孕婦已被送往醫院。
