今晨琉球群島強震　花彰、南投等震度1級

今天凌晨4時11分在北緯27.4度、東經127.4度海域，約在日本琉球群島附近發生芮氏規模6.7強震，地震深度約112.3公里。雖這起地震震央位置季離台北約643公里遠，但包括花蓮市、彰化市、斗六市、南投市及蘭嶼都測得1級震度。

中央氣象局地震測報中心主任郭鎧紋指出，這起地震的震央位置在琉球海溝，是菲律賓海板塊隱沒到歐亞大陸板塊導致能量釋放所致。 郭鎧紋說，國內的地震觀測網範圍是北緯21到26度、東京119到123度之間區域，這起地震雖然遠在觀測網之外，不過台灣部分地區仍可以測到震度，因此氣象局僅發布「遠地地震報告」，後續也不會對台灣附近造成影響。（張勵德／台北報導）
