因應鳳凰颱風，台鐵今(21)日上午9時30分表示，西部幹線(基隆到屏東)、宜蘭線、北迴線：自中午12時起恢復正常行駛。南迴線、臺東線：18時前各級列車全部停駛。

另外，屏東線(高雄－枋寮間)及各支線：區間車視風雨狀況機動行駛。阿里山森林鐵路(嘉義～奮起湖)及各支線(祝山、沼平線及神木線)9月21日至22日，各級列車全線停駛。

台鐵提醒，因應颱風仍有豪雨發生機率，乘客出門前，詢問列車運行情形，請洽：
(一)臺鐵局官方網站，會隨狀況更新最新資訊，網址：
（http://www.railway.gov.tw/tw/index.html）
(二)臺鐵局24小時旅客服務電話：（02）2191-0096、0800-765-888(免付費電話，行動電話無法撥打)。
(三)各就近車站(臺鐵局官方網站有各車站聯絡資訊)。
三、颱風期間列車停駛或路線中斷時，持未搭乘之乘車票，請於15天內(含當日)洽就近車站全額退票。
