相較於轎車的低底盤設定與較短的懸吊行程，在行駛過程中，可以保持低重心，因此擁有較佳的操控感受；反觀人高馬大的SUV，由於重心較高，因此操控起來左右搖晃就更為明顯，特別是在過彎時駕駛容易感覺車身側傾，不只影響車身動態表現，對於乘坐者而言也相對不舒適。
