尼泊爾強震 總統：盡力協助度難關

尼泊爾強震造成重大傷亡，總統馬英九今天在社群網站臉書（facebook）表示，台灣曾發生九二一大地震，相信民眾對尼泊爾此刻處境感同身受，中華民國會盡力幫助尼泊爾度過難關。

總統指出，尼泊爾昨天發生令人震驚哀痛的重大傷亡，芮氏規模7.8的大地震目前已造成1500人罹難，人數還在增加中，首都加德滿都機場關閉，國際救援困難。

總統也提到，地震的可怕對國人並不陌生，台灣曾於民國88年9月21日遭遇芮氏規模7.3大地震，當時救災、安置、重建的艱辛過程猶歷歷在目，相信民眾對尼泊爾此刻處境感同身受。

總統強調，中華民國在國際上一向是「人道援助的提供者」，會盡力幫助尼泊爾度過難關。

總統說，中華民國外交部第一時間對尼泊爾政府表達慰問哀悼，目前先提供30萬美元救災，再視後續發展提供進一步協助。
