傳印陸或同意在印度洋深海共同研究

媒體報導，印度總理莫迪5月中旬訪問中國大陸時，雙方可能簽署在印度洋展開深海共同研究的協定。相關研究可能因此發現值得開採的自然資源，凸顯該協定的重要性。

莫迪（Narendra Modi）定5月14至16日訪中國大陸。

「經濟時報」（The Economic Times）今天報導，中國大陸對印度洋野心日增，並倡議21世紀海上絲綢之路戰略。與此同時，印度也加強跟印度洋周邊及中國大陸周圍國家的交往，該協定在此背景下成形。

中、印兩國已進行兩回合海上對話，但對於在印度洋展開深海共同研究態度互有猜疑。報導說，印方要求，若中國大陸要利用印度洋地區的自然資源，則印度也要利用南海的自然資源。但對於印度出現在南海油氣區塊，北京持反對態度。
