箱根兩天一夜，行程救助

打算第一天早晨從東京站坐車到箱根湯本或者從新宿坐小田原到箱根湯本，然後一整日的遊玩晚上入住旅館，第二天出發去禦店場購物，然後做直達巴士回東京。
請問以上行程是不是不值得買箱根周遊券？因為往返東京只有單程能用上車票。另外住在箱根的哪個位置對於第一天整天的遊玩和第二天前往禦店場最為方便？請各位幫手
